milo is getting a new friend soon. a friend of mine is taking his family on vacation, but they are unable to take their dog with them... so i am pet sitting for a few weeks. her name is pepper, and apparently, she hates dogs as much as milo does. this could be an adventure.
i have been thinking of a lot of really good art projects that i want to do... i need to find a way of making my own window stickers... and i need to have enough money to buy a large piece of canvas. i have been looking at pictures on flickr, and am going to create a "b is for..." montage... consisting of pictures of bees, buttons, bombs, birds... etc. my favorite picture is of a little boy with no pants on (exposing his bum only) holding a balloon. there is no significance with the letter b... i just thought it would be fun to look at a lot of pictures all together... and the letter b seems like it is a good way to connect them all. because of my connection with the the television show "the office," there will, of course, be a "bears, beets, battle star galactica," set of pictures.
i think i know where i am going to live next year. i found this really adorable little apartment complex that is kind of far away from campus, but it has so much space. i am most excited about living there because everything is so clean and new. they don't really have any rules... i can't paint, but i can hang anything i want to on the walls... hence the new art ideas... it is a one bedroom... side note: i am so so excited about living with katie this coming year. i loved living with her in the dorms, and i will be guaranteed to see her more often when she moves into the house. that is a major perk. but... i can't help being excited about having a place all my own... you know... it will be great to be able to decide for myself how i want to decorate, and where i want to put things. at this new apartment, there is a utility room, so i won't have to keep my dog in my bedroom when i leave... it will be nice to leave the house without fear of having my things destroyed.
anyway... that is enough for a first blog. moses is hoping for attention right now so i'm going to have to attend to her. ok bye.
